| Resumen: | El Síndrome de Burnout, se origina como resultado del estrés laboral crónico en trabajadores que están contacto directo con personas, como lo hacen el personal del INPE; la cual es de carácter novedoso en nuestro país. Este Síndrome llevará al profesional a sentirse frustrado, a la falta de realización personal, agotamiento emocional, despersonalización o deshumanización, etc. si no se toman medidas para tratar este mal a tiempo; poniendo en peligro la salud de los trabajadores y afectando directamente su desempeño y calidad laboral; así como, su vida personal. El presente trabajo de investigación titulado "Relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y el Impacto Ambiental Laboral en el personal femenino del INPE del Establecimiento Penitenciario de Mujeres de Chorrillos y su Anexo respectivo. Agosto 2012 - Abril 2013"; tiene como objetivo determinar la relación existente entre el Síndrome de Burnout y el Impacto Ambiental Laboral en el personal femenino del INPE de los penales referidos, la prevalencia de sus dimensiones y la relación de las mismas con sus características personales y laborales. La investigación es de tipo Descriptivo, Observacional y Transversal. El lugar de estudio fue el Establecimiento Penitenciario de Mujeres de Chorrillos y el Establecimiento Penitenciario Anexo de Mujeres de Chorrillos, ambos situados en el cruce de las Avenidas Huaylas con Santa Leonor, distrito de Chorrillos, en la provincia y departamento de Lima. La población estudiada fue el personal femenino del INPE de ambos Establecimientos Penitenciarios de Chorrillos, siendo estos en total 162, distribuidos en las diferentes áreas de trabajo; pero de ellos solo se tomó como muestra a las Agentes de Seguridad, llegando a ser 35 entre ambos establecimientos. Para la recolección de la información se utilizaron dos instrumentos. August 2012 - April 2013", aims to determinate the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and Impact of work's environment at the female INPE's staff of criminal referrals, the prevalence of its dimensions and the relationship of these with their personal characteristics and labor. The research is of type Descriptive, Observational and Transversal. The study's site were the Chorrillos Women's Establishment Penitentiary and Chorrillos Women's Annex Establishment Penitentiary, they both located at the intersection between Santa Leonor and Huaylas Avenues, in the Chorrillos district at the province and department of Lima. The study population was just female staff at both INPE's Chorrillos Establishment Penitentiaries and these being in total 162, distributed in different areas of work, but of these only a sample was taken to the Security Agents, becoming 35 between the two establishments.
